Condolence: My heartfelt sympathies to Cynthia's family and friends. I saddened and very surprised by this news. I worked with Cynthia almost two decades ago in Flight Design and my memory of her is represented by this photo. Cynthia was such a smart, kind, humble and gentle person. My heart is heavy with all of you for her passing.

Condolence: My heart goes out to your family at the loss of Cynthia. I, too, met Cynthia at United Space Alliance where she mentored me. She was an amazing mentor (as you can tell from the large number of folks she mentored). She was so patient and kind, even when I got confused with all of the NASA acronyms!
She spoke lovingly of her family and had pictures of them posted in her cubical. She went through a lot in her short life here on earth. I'm sure she's hugging Sam and her Mom and looking through the clouds to watch for the next NASA flight.

Condolence: I met Cynthia when we worked together in USA Flight Design many years ago. She was smart, funny, and kind. I left Flight Design in ~2009, but my husband still worked there til the lay-offs, so I'd at least get to occasionally see her and catch-up. With the lay-off and busy family/work-life, I didn't get to talk with her often until we could make it to the same luncheon, text occasionally, or sometimes run into each other at the store, or visit at the hospital. Yet, I was always amazed at how good-natured and witty Cynthia was, no matter how much she was going through at the time or had been through already. She had such an endearing and enduring spirit that blessed everyone who knew her. I truly miss her.

Condolence: To the family and friends that Cynthia leaves behind - my heartfelt condolences and I pray for peace and calm on your hearts as you navigate this troubling time. I sat in the cubicle ahead of Cynthia for many years during the Shuttle Program. She was sweet and kind. She always had a smile on her face. She had an infectious laugh that would cause me to join in when I heard it on a few occasions from a wild crazy story she would tell to her cube-mate, Patricia Graves, about her pets or family member. Rest easy Cynthia and know that you will be missed.

Condolence: Cynthia was my cube mate in Flight Design. She was quiet at the beginning, but once I got to know her she was just as crazy as I am! So we got along great! I loved hearing about her family & pets. When I left Flight Design, we would still meet up for lunch/dinner when I came back to Houston for TDY. You will be missed...

Condolence: Cynthia was one of my mentors in Flight Design. She was a very patient, caring person. We became good friends. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She loved her family so much and was always talking about her nieces and nephews with great fondness. I know she was a special Aunt. May God bring comfort and healing to the family. Peace, Paula Fradette

Condolence: My beautiful sister. When Mom had passed away you were there as the strong anchor to hold the rest of us together without drifting too far. Now that you are there with Momma I've seemed to have lost sight of what's to be next. And I don't have my "Big Sis" to turn to. Say "Hi" and give Momma the biggest hug for us. And we will always know and feel the Love you leave us.
