Robert John Schlein, 76, of Galveston went to be with his Lord Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was born Tuesday, October 27, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Betty Schlein; wife, Nancy Schlein; son Alan Schlein; sister, Pat Miller. He is survived by daughters Angela Summers and husband John, Aimee Hawthorne and husband Julian; grandchildren, Leah, Morgan, Nathan, Jordan, Kristan; great-grandchildren, Giada, Kinsler, Natalie, Dorian; special friends Jackie Mathew and daughter, Michelle; and many other family members and friends. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park North, in Porter, Texas.
