Condolence From: The Wiegel family
Condolence: Josh what I remember about you comes from Idaho....you running around the church at Calvary while Mom volunteered. Always kind, inclusive and full of smiles. I also remember coming to your home and enjoying the JOY your dogs brought you and your family. I am saddened to hear of your passing.....esp for your parents. They were devoted to you and you to them. God Bless

Condolence: Brett & Kem We have not known you both a long time but what we did learn right away was that you were two parents that loved your son fiercely. We have two other lifelong friends who lost their only son when he was twenty five. The wisdom they would share with you is to lean into each other hard and welcome the flood of memories that will flow into your hearts and minds over the next few months, years, and decades to come. God will reveal to you a new purpose and also a way to continue to honor Josh and use his well lived life in special ways. My dad loved George Strait's music and I found this song and lyrics when he left us. I wanted to share it with you in loving memory of your only son and best friend. You Be There: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0DIC59eCes Lyrics: Hope is an anchor and love is a ship, time is the ocean, and life is a trip You don't know where you're going, 'till you know where you're at And if you can't read the stars, well you better have a map A compass and a conscience, so you don't get lost at sea Or on some ol' lonely island, where no one wants to be From the beginning of creation, I think our maker had a plan For us to leave these shores and sail beyond the sand And let the good light guide us through the waves and the wind To the beaches in a world where we have never been And we'll climb up on a mountain, y'all we'll let our voices ring Those who've never tried it, they'll be the first to sing Whoa, my, my I'll see you on the other side If I make it And it might be a long hard ride But I'm gonna take it Sometimes it seems that I don't have a prayer Let the weather take me anywhere But I know that I wanna go Where the streets are gold 'Cause you'll be there Oh, my, my You don't bring nothing with you here And you can't take nothing back I ain't never seen a hearse, with a luggage rack So I've torn my knees up prayin' Scarred my back from fallin' down Spent so much time flying high, till I'm face first in the ground So if you're up there watchin' me, would you talk to God and say, Tell Him I might need a hand to see you both someday Whoa, my, my So I'll see you on the other side If I make it And it might be a long hard ride But I wanna take it Sometimes it seems that I don't have a prayer Let the weather take me anywhere But I know that I wanna go Where the streets are gold 'Cause you'll be there Oh, my, my 'Cause you'll be there Oh, my ,my Songwriters: Cory Mayo

Condolence: Dear Kem & Brett, No words are sufficient to express the sadness of Josh's passing. He certainly didn't let that accident in 2008 slow him down. It was comforting to hear about all of his life experiences. I am sure you will forever be proud of him. Thank you for sharing his story and pictures. All of you will be in my thoughts & prayers. anna

Condolence: Kem and Brett, We're grief stricken, feeling your shock and pain. I know Josh has transitioned to his home with our Lord. After getting the news, I've started the book "The Map of Heaven", in regards to the neurosurgeon who's life died and returned. Dr. Eben Alexander. You may enjoy it, at some point, in your healing. With much love, Jana and Gary

Condolence From: Burch Family
Condolence: You are in our prayers. Josh will truly be missed. We will always be touched by the way Josh always jumped in with both feet no questions asked when help was needed. If you needed a tree cut up and moved. Josh picked the tree up threw it on his shoulders and asked where do you want it? If a friend needed help after the floods, Josh showed up and emptied an entire home of furniture and moved it all to the rafters of the barn and then asked what’s next? He didn’t need to know the people he helped he just needed to know they needed HIS help. Thank you for sharing him with us.
