Mildred Barnett Smith, my mother, is a first cousin to Atmar Barnette, Jim’s dad. We have enjoyed reconnecting with Jim in recent years and especially appreciate his kindness and generosity In sharing his knowledge of family history (and love of the old grandparents and the Carlisle Homecoming) with us Barnett cousins. We will miss him and hope it is a comfort to you and his dear brother, Sid, that Jim is now rejoicing with his precious parents for all eternity.
