Obituary for Jerry Paul Edwards

Jerry Paul Edwards went to be with his LORD on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Porter, Texas. Jerry was born in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Retha Edwards on May 18, 1945. He grew up in the Houston area attending Galena Park High School. He joined the Navy in 1962 and married his Junior High Sweetheart, Pamela Kay Brown, on June 4, 1966. Jerry worked for 18 years as a machinist with his business partner and father-in-law, Calvin Langham, at Langham Machine Works. He retired from Baker Hughes as a Research and Development Master Machinist in 2000 after suffering a massive heart attack. Jerry received a heart transplant from Methodist Hospital in 2004 only to later fight the good fight with Breast Cancer which he did until the very end. He enjoyed classic Rock and Roll music, classic cars, fishing, and hunting. Most recently, he enjoyed working as a Moderator for The Original Oldies Music and also as an Administrator for The 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s Era Music online social media groups. His great sense of humor will be forever missed!
