Thelma Gernandt, 81, of New Caney went to be with her Lord Saturday, December 22, 2018. She was born Tuesday, January 5, 1937 to Carl and Hilda Beeler who have preceded her in death. Thelma is survived by her husband, Walter "Rusty" Gernandt; Stepmoter-in-law, Alma Heslop; brother, Harry Beeler and wife Rita; sisters, Ethel Finlay and husband Paul, Ruth Dulaney. A visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter from 12 PM to 2 PM . A funeral service will be held will be held at 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park North, in Porter, Texas. In leiu of flowers, Thelma's family request donations be made to a charity of your choice.
