Obituary for Frank Decautor Chilton

Frank D. Chilton Sr, 88 years old, of Porter, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 20, 2018. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 26, 1930 to the late Frank D. Chilton Esquire and Maudine Beatrice Chilton. Frank graduated from The University of Tulsa with a Masters degree in music in 1952. He taught high school band and orchestra for 35 years before retiring from the New Caney Independent School District in 1987. An Eagle Scout, he carried those values and commitments learned in his years with the Boy Scouts through out his life. Frank also served in the United States Army during the Korean War and immediately joined the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1957. He was proceeded in death by his parents Frank D, Chilton and Maudine Chilton, and by his youngest son Anthony Chilton. Frank is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Chilton, to whom he married on Christmas Eve, 1952, his son Frank Chilton Jr., his wife Mary Chilton, two granddaughters, Angela Marin, and Caryn Martinez, three Great Grand Children, Emma Marin, Matti and Mathew Martinez.
