Margaret Clark Beyer
Margaret "Peggy" Clark Beyer, 71, died November 1, 2018 at home surrounded by family and friends. Services will be 11:00AM Monday, November 5, 2018 at St. John of Cross Catholic Church with Father Linh Nguyen officiating.
Peggy Beyer was born August 5, 1947, to Harold and Florence Clark in Waco, Texas. In 1957 at the age of 10, Peggy and her family moved to Midland, Texas. While growing up in Midland Peggy loved being outside and playing sports. She became a championship tennis player, enjoying college level competition. While at college Peggy met the love of her life, Mike. Peggy married Mike Beyer on August 30, 1969, in Midland, Texas. Later the couple moved to Porter, Texas, where they have lived for 40 years. Peggy was a teacher, coach, and counselor at New Caney High School for 23 years. During those 23 years as an educator, Peggy touched the lives of so many, loved and was loved in return, by more people than we will ever know. After Peggy retired she stayed active in the church where she was in charge of the food pantry for St. John of the Cross. She was a proud member of the Catholic Daugthers. Peggy was also a seventh generation Texan and a member of the Daugthers of the Republic of Texas.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Mike Beyer, and their children: Danny Beyer and his wife Rhonda of Porter, Texas; Geoff Beyer and his wife Tracy of Magnolia, Texas; Brian Beyer and his wife Chastity of Porter, Texas; and Kristi Riddle and her husband Kelly of Waxahachie, Texas. Also her 10 grandchildren: Kindle, Kollin, Cade, Boone, Ty, Brecken, KD, Lane, Parker, and Kason. Peggy is also survived by her two brothers and two sisters: Bobby and Jan Clark of Breckenridge, Texas; Bubba and Frieda Clark of San Antonio, Texas; Cissy and John Ward of Longview, Texas; and Choo Choo Tuttle of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Peggy is preceded in death by her father and mother. She leaves behind more friends than stars in the sky.
