Johnie M. Hogland was the epitome of good men—a follower of Jesus and leader of his family. Although he was a man of few words, he was characterized by strength and unconditional love that he lived out through his example. His marriage to Dora Hogland was marked by a commitment, love, and grace that is a true reflection of the Lord. He was the rock of his household as he raised his four children to understand the value of respect and hard work. As a grandpa and great grandpa, Papa Johnie, continued his legacy of being a provider and of ever present stability. He truly gave everything in life for his family in hopes that these simple, yet imperative values would show them what is truly important in life—God, love, and family.
