Obituary for
Bobby Lee Nunley
Bobby Lee Nunley, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born in Webster, TX on July 16, 1931 to Marvin and Ada Belle Nunley. He served in the Navy on the USS Juneau CL119 in Saigon during the Korean conflict. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #54. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ada Belle Nunley, his sister Ruth Havens, brothers Herbie Nunley, Aubrey Nunley and JD Nunley, his loving wife Beverly Ann Nunley, and his great grandson Bryce Nunley. He and his wife Beverly were happily married 57 years and had 4 children. He is survived by daughter, Debbie Bell, son Rickey and wife Dinah Nunley, daughter, Tammy and husband Phil Daly, son Robert and wife Dana Nunley, also, his special lady friend and companion, Joy Crawford. He was blessed with 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren that he adored. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
The family extends their gratitude to everyone for their expressions of love and support during this very difficult time.
Visitation will be at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble on Thursday, October 25. The family will gather from 5:00 – 6:00 pm and the public is invited to visit from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at Rosewood on Friday, October 26 at 10:00 am.
