Obituary for Shelia Laake

Shelia Laake
Shelia Annette Laake, 60, born June 16th, 1958 in Nevada, MO gained her wings on October 4th 2018.

She is survived by her daughters, Erin Johnson and Sarah Dougherty; by her grandchildren, McKenzie Johnson, Hailey Dougherty, and Hunter Doughtery; by her mother, Ann Engle; by her sister, Dianna
Curtice and husband Jeffrey; by her nephew, Travis Engle, and by many loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Engle; and by her brother, Randy Engle.

Shelia was a wonderful woman with a heart the size of Texas. Just a few of her favorite hobbies included woodworking, quilting, painting, bowling and fishing. She loved to laugh and you would often find her pranking personality filling a room with smiles and laughter. Her nurturing nature would shine bright with the love she had being a mother. She was very active in all school activities for her daughters and would try to spread her generosity throughout the school with the many carnivals, food drives, and volunteer work she collaborated.

Shelia will forever be loved and missed by her many family and friends.

"We'll love you forever, we'll like you for always, as long as we're living, our Mother you'll be"
