Obituary for Kevin Blair

Kevin Dwayne Blair, 49, of Kingwood went to be with his Lord Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born February 20, 1969 to Rolla and Patsy Blair. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Debra Blair; his parents, mentioned above; children, Ethan, Parker, Olivia, and Camille; sister; Kim Carroll and husband Matt; and many other relatives and friends. Kevin was known best for his faith in the Lord, devotion to family and a witty sense of humor. He was a proud graduate of Purdue University where he met the love of his life, Debbie. Kevin found joy in participating in his children’s lives. He could be found on the basketball court with Ethan as his very excitable Special Olympics Coach. Not to be outdone, Kevin and Parker loved to pick up their shotguns and fishing rods and enjoy the great outdoors. Olivia captured her father’s heart in the pool with those early morning rides to practice. He was her encouragement to keep reaching for the finish line. Camille learned proper golf etiquette and composure on the course as they chased a little white ball from hole to hole, talking about life and chasing off turtles. The common denominator between the children was FFA. He was man enough to proudly embrace the title of “Show Dad” at the barn, countless competitions and livestock auctions. He will clearly be missed by all. A visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter from 3PM to 5PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held at Woodridge Baptist Church, 5707 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, Texas on Monday, September 10th at 10AM.
