Obituary for
Barry Michael Klein
Barry Michael Klein was born March 10, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a bright, inquisitive, and driven soul whose fierce independence and love of music led him to the Houston area in his early 20’s. Barry’s love and knowledge of music was incredible and he shared that love with thousands of people through his DJ business, the Sound Associates.
He was a caring man and knew anything could be accomplished through his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. His contributions to the lives of many included teaching Virtus classes, the Catholic Eucharistic Ministry to the sick, Level Four Knight of Columbus, conducting AA meetings in correctional facilities, reading for the blind, volunteering at the soup kitchen during the holidays, and many other altruistic activities for his community. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 18 years Ruth Ellen Klein and his parents Raymond Albert Klein and Mary Ann Klein.
He is survived by his son Raymond Alan Klein (Jennifer), daughters Lauren Ann Klein (Katherine) and Ashley Elizabeth Klein; stepson Erik Neil Coleman (Carla); brother Douglas Frank Klein (Dorayne) and sister Peggy Ann Leis (Kevin); three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. We would like to thank the Family of Ruth Ellen Klein for their continued love and support throughout the years. A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Humble, Texas, Friday, September 7, 2018, Rosary at 10:00 am, Mass 11:00 am, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
I can hear naught but the music of eternity
In exact harmony with the spirit’s desires.
I am cloaked in full whiteness;
I am in comfort; I am in peace
