James Roger Trimble, 79, of Houston went to be with his Lord Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born Friday, March 24, 1939 to Kenneth and Sabine Trimble. James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Keith E. Trimble. He is survived by his only daughter, Kathleen Trimble; granddaughter, Melanie McCrory and husband Jason; great-grandchildren, William, Rebecca, Lyndell; brother, Wayne Trimble; special extended family members, Tim and Mary Kiger; and many other family members and friends. A visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter from 2 PM to 5 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2018. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11 AM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas. In leiu of flowers, the Trimble family request donations to be made to the Leukemia ans Lymphomia Society at LLS.org or donate blood in James' honor.
