On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Richard Lynn English, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away after a courageous battle with stomach cancer at the age of 58.
Richard was born March 18, 1960, in Houston, Texas. He worked as a supervisor at the Exxonmobil refinery in Baytown for 26 years, 5 years as a machinist and 21 years in Operations.
Richard will forever be remembered for his caring and giving heart. For his love of a good baseball game and his lifelong dedication to his family. For the hearts he touched and the smiles and laughs he shared. For the values he instilled in his children and the legacy he leaves for his grandchildren. For his kindheartedness, his goodness and his giving nature.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth English and Tamara McDaniel; their children, Kenneth II, Annie, Tristan, Brooke, Logan and Noah; his brother and sister Ronald English and Kathy Cone; and his mother Patricia English.
He is preceded in death by his father, Royce Junior English.
A Celebration of Richard's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Rosewood Funeral Home Atascocita, 17404 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Humble, Texas 77396.
