We regret the loss of Juergen Achtermann Sr. Born in Germany on August 14, 1938. He was preceded in death by his father, Werner Achtermann and is survived by his immediate family members including his mother, Irma Achtermann (102 years old), his three son's Juergen Achtermann Jr., Heinz Werner Achtermann, and Dieter Randall Achtermann, his daughter-in-law Kara Achtermann, and his four grandsons, Heinz Werner Achtermann Jr, Ehren Thomas Achtermann, Erik Nikolaus Achtermann, and Avyn Jace Achtermann. Juergen came to the U.S. right out of high school where he met and married Lovella Queen and became the father of the three previously listed children. He spent most of his life in the steel business but his biggest joy had to be playing a proud Opa and bragging on his grandsons. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
