James Arthur  Walker
James Arthur Walker, 75, of New Caney, Texas went into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 31, 2018. James was born on October 5, 1942 to Arthur and Hazel Walker who both precede him in death. James proudly served his country in The United States Navy from 1961-1965. He was very crafty and enjoyed workworking. James was also known for his sense of humor and being big jokester. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 51 years, Frances Darlene Walker; children, Tina Warren and husband John Sr., Treasa Gaddis and husband Randy, Ryan Walker and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Michael Walker, Richard Stockwell, John Warren Jr., Rhonda Gagnard, Justin Gaddis, Tyler Walker, Jordan Gaddis and Emma Walker; great-grandchildren, Brayden Stanfield, Kenneth Walker, William Gagnard, Alec Warren, Kynsie Gagnard and Caden Gaddis; brothers and sister, Evelyn Blythe, Frank Walker and wife Sissy, Haldean Walker and wife Donna; numerous other family members and a host of loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel in Porter, Texas with Pastor Maury Gill officiating. James will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park Porter.
