Robert Lynn Cullum, age 60, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his home in Humble, Texas. Robert is survived by his loving wife Janet; his brother Max (Jr.) and wife Karen; his brother Russell, along with a whole host of adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Max (Sr.) and Barbara Cullum.
A lifelong resident of Humble who grew up on Main St., Robert graduated from Humble High School in 1977 and started work as an iron worker in Houston, Texas. Robert later attended real estate school and became a commercial real estate agent for various business properties in the downtown Houston area. In 1989, Robert married the love of his life, Janet, and for the past 28-years they have together enjoyed each other’s company on many, many adventures and miles of travel.
Robert is fondly remembered by his friends and family as having always been strong-willed and fiercely independent, yet generous and caring in his own particular way. Indeed, up until the moment God called him home, Robert “called the shots” on earth.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Rosewood Funeral Home, located at 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble Texas. Immediately following this celebration of life, the Cullum Family will host family and friends for a meal at Italiano’s Restaurant, located at 217 FM 1960 Bypass in Humble, Texas.
