Eddie Hickman, Jr., better known as Gene, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at the age of 56 in Kingwood, Tx. He was born August 31, 1961 in Jacinto City, Tx to parents Eddie and Wanda Hickman. Gene worked in the wire and cable industry for many years before retiring in May of 2017.  He was known for his love of his family and was always quick with a joke. He leaves behind wife Cynthia Hickman, daughter Kira Young and husband Chris, stepsons Allen Reed, Matthew Castro, Joseph Castro and wife Nina, sister Debbie Prewitt and husband Jesse, granddaughters Lillian, Rachel and Vera Lindsey, step-granddaughters Milla, Layla and Avery Castro, and nephews Joey, Jacob and Josh Cruse.  He will be missed by many.
