Heaven gained another angel. Edward “Eddie” A. Weede, Sr. died surrounded by family on November 3, 2017 at the age of 79.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father, William H. Weede and mother, Evelyn Christine Weede, brothers Marion Weede, Billy Weede, sisters Ruth Cook and Anne Eddings; wife Leona Weede; his stepson Wesley Hill.

He is survived by his daughters Debbie Burks and husband John and Chris Beight; stepdaughter Kay Penton and stepson Joey Hill and wife Janet; son, Allen Weede and wife Renee; daughter in law Sandra Kelly, brothers, Charlie Weede and wife Eunice, Bobby Weede, Gene Weede and wife Jan, Jerry Weede and wife Glenda; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Eddie was born on August 8, 1938 in Sardis, Mississippi to William and Christine Weede. He became an electrician by trade and Worked for Celanese Clear Lake for many years. He was able to retire in 1998. Eddie’s hobbies were woodworking, attending cook-offs, hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Rosewood Funeral Home, located at 2602 S. Houston Avenue, Humble, Texas 77396. Family visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and family and friends visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Services in the Chapel will immediately follow with graveside service.
