Linda Joyce Minton (Freeze)
Linda Joyce Minton, 73, was born on November 9, 1943, in Weslaco, Texas. She passed away peacefully on October 17, 2017, in Humble, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Brad Frank Minton, of Tulsa, OK, and Craig McCall Minton and wife Carrie, of Kansas City, MO; by her grandchildren, Mariah and Ava, of Kansas City, MO; by her brothers, Arthur Alvin Freeze and wife Charlene, of Channelview, Texas, Ronald David Freeze and wife Dana, of The Woodlands, Texas; by her sisters, Mary Inez Hamilton and husband Odell, of Humble, Texas, Ramona Alice Norton and husband David, of Bryan, Texas; by sister-in-law, Jackie Freeze, of Missoula, MT, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Bobby Frank Minton, of Humble, Texas; by her parents, Rev. A.M. Freeze and wife Mary Isabel, of Lufkin, Texas; and by her brother, William Lewis
(W.L.) Freeze, of Missoula, MT.
Linda was a very loving and caring sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. She graduated in the class of 1962 from Lufkin High School. She loved Astros baseball, enjoyed Southern Gospel Music, and was a volunteer at Humble First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services to honor Linda’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Humble First Assembly of God, 1915 FM 1960 Bypass Rd. E., Humble, Texas 77338, with Pastor Milton Pool officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m., at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas.
