Jon and I were friends for close to 40 years. During that time he was a constant source of support and epitomized what friendship was all about.  Through the years, though miles apart, Jon and I would keep in touch, sharing the ups and downs of our lives.  I could always count on a call from him on my birthday.  He would sing the “Happy Birthday “ song each time.  More than just a friend, he was like a brother to me and part of our family.  Everyone in my family knew how strong of a bond there was between us, and loved him for it.  I know he touched the hearts of many people during his life and I will forever miss him as a part of mine.  Jon, I love you and know that you are at peace in Heaven now.
