Obituary for John Kenneth Bacon

JOHN KENNETH BACON

Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed into God's hands September 18, 2017.

He will be greatly missed by Melanie, his wife of 54 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother James Bacon of Baytown, his
children Kenny Bacon and his wife Betty of Deer Park, Monica Franco and her husband Joey of LaPorte and Raymond Bacon of Pasadena. John is also survived by his
grandchildren John Bacon and his wife Ashley of Pasadena and Nicole Bacon of LaPorte and great-grandchildren Ember and Justice Bacon.

John was a kind, honest, giving man with a wonderful sense of humor. Born in Alvin, John grew up in Angleton and graduated from Angleton High School in 1960. He
attended Lamar Tech in Beaumont where he earned a Certificate of Completion as a machinist. Lamar is also where he and Melanie met and began their life together.
After graduation, they moved to Houston and later to Pasadena where John worked as a machinist and metallizer for 30 years. He retired in the mid 90's and spent his
retirement years enjoying time with his family.
