Sybil was born and raised on a dairy farm in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She graduated high school from Pine Bluff and in twelve years never missed a single day of school. During WW II she worked in an arsenal factory assembling bombs. Later on, Sybil met Aubrey Hendrix at a soda shop and had their first date at a USO dance club. They were soon married and enjoyed over 60 years together. She was a stay at home mom until her children were grown. Sybil served as president, trustee, secretary and treasurer of the ladies auxiliary of the VFW. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and tending to her garden. Mostly, she enjoyed cooking and having all of her family around, especially for the holidays. She loved and cherished her husband, Aubrey, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren with all of her heart. She would go out of her way to help everyone, because it made her happy just knowing they were happy. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
