Obituary for Vincent Joseph Palmisano

Vincent J Palmisano was born December 22, 1943 and entered into heaven on August 29, 2017. Vincent was 73 years old. Survived by wife, Karen Palmisano; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Matt Clardy; son, Vincent Guidroz; step-daughter, Erica Pawlak and step-son, Ryan Pawlak; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and John Piot; brother, Michael Palmisano. Grandchildren: Lauren Guidroz, Dylan Clardy and Lyla Clardy. Niece and nephews: Chad and Lorie Piot, Cole Piot, Jude and Michelle Piot, Angela and Damion Brumfield and Delaney Brumfield.

Vincent was born in New Orleans, LA. Their family had a working farm in Algiers, LA. The family would sell their produce in the French Market in New Orleans. Vincent finished his studies at Delgado Community College and worked in construction. He had a love for race cars.

Vincent lived in New Orleans then moved to Dallas. After a few years in Lufkin, he moved to Houston in 2004. Vincent was very involved in photography and chamber events in Lufkin and the Greater East Montgomery County Chambers. He volunteered at the Kingwood Library where he taught photography. He coordinated the annual Eagle Count for the US Fish and Wildlife Service for and the Audubon Society the last 30 years. Vincent loved the Juice Plus Tower Garden and became a distributor with Juice Plus. He supplied two fire stations with Tower Gardens and obtained a Tower Garden for the Greater East Montgomery Food Bank. His passion was to help spread the word of healthy living.

Vincent was a co-organizer of the Kingwood Area Singles. Karen and Vincent met there and dated for a short time and married on October 19, 2013. For the next several years they took cruises, traveled to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and all over Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia. Karen and Vincent took road trips to each location and enjoyed every mile in their travels. Vincent was a great cook and was in great demand for his gumbo and other Cajun dishes. He will be greatly missed.
