Obituary for Cindy Lou Biles (Caston)

Cindy Lou Biles was born on May 8, 1941 in Liberty, MS. She graduated from Liberty High School 1959 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked at Jack’s Cookie Company in Baton Rouge, LA, the Agricultural Service Center in Liberty, MS. Cindy retired in 2008 after over 25 years with U.S. Postal Service to help care for her daughter, Cheryl after she and her husband were hit by a drunk driver. Her postal customers still ask about her today. She faced different health complications throughout this time, but continued to fight through them and be the glue that held her family together. She was known for attending every little league game her grandsons, whom lovingly referred to her as "Nana" participated in. Cindy also enjoyed going to the Casino with friends and was not happy if she had to miss her weekly trip to the hairdresser and to bingo after. She passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2017 surrounded by her close family at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX.

Cindy is survived by her Daughters, Karen Renee Bezet of Conroe, TX, Cheryl Lou Haynes of Conroe, TX, Kathryn Jeanette Crosby and husband Douglas of New Caney, TX; Grandsons, Richard Scott Goodwin, Edward Lea Haynes, Colin Michael Haynes; Brother, Jerry Caston and wife Janice of Amite, LA; Sister, Elizabeth Burchfield and husband Roger of Hendersonville, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
