Christie Lynn (Powers) Osborn, 66, of Mont Belvieu, TX went to be with her Heavenly Father on the
morning of August 1, 2017. She was surrounded by her family. Her sudden passing was related to
respiratory complications.

She was born in Port Arthur, TX on February 9, 1951 to Carl T. and Emma Lou Powers. Christie attended
Pasadena High School and graduated in 1970. She was a self employed beautician for over 50 years.
Chris lived and worked in Pasadena most of her life.

Christie was a staunch advocate for finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. She was a member of Crosby
Church and shared her love of the Lord in her daily life. Chris dedicated her life to her children and
grandchildren. Her clients were her family. She was beloved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father. Christie is survived by her stepfather Bobby
Oglethorpe. Siblings, Carl T. Powers, Burl Powers, Chad Powers, and Cindy Roberts. Children, Carle
Couts-Dickens and her spouse Shannon Dickens, Tabitha Couts-Gatlin and her spouse Chad Gatlin, Radie Stroud and his spouse Heather Stroud. Grandchildren Savannah Gatlin, Bryce Gatlin, Emma Stroud, Reese Gatlin, Katelyn Stroud, and Ella Dickens.
