Condolence: Constable Bailey is a true legend. He was bigger than life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Janis, Rae and the rest of the family. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Condolence: Our prayers go out to the family for the loss of a great man. He has given so much to the City of Houston, Harris County, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He will be truly missed.

Condolence: We treasure the years that we were neighbors to Bill. I especially remember when I drove my lawnmower into the wide ditch that used to be on our street. I knew who Bill Bailey was but had no idea that he and Janis were our neighbors at that time. He quickly got a rope, of which he had many, and pulled me safely up into my yard. He was a giant of a man and yet gentle. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: Bill and Janis were not just partners with the United Space Alliance and Boeing protection teams, but also friends. To Janis we pass our sincerest condolences. For Bill, we remember his contributions to the protection of the U.S. manned spaceflight program, his huge heart and gregarious nature, and the pleasure of just knowing the man who was as likely to answer the phone, "Mule Barn!" as with any official title. You will truly be missed.
