Message: I have known Yvonne for several years as she and I were in the same Girl Scout troop (my mother was the troop leader). Yvonne will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness and faithfulness. While it is sad to loose a friend, I must admit that I rejoice for her as she is now safe and secure in the arms of our Lord and Savior. May all of her loved ones feel God's presence and know His comfort at this most difficult time.

Message: Although Yvonne managed to graduate from high school a year early, a few years ago she selflessly gave of her time and effort to help the Waltrip High School Class of 1963 locate members who had somehow been lost to us over the decades. Her efforts -- often successful -- helped our class have a wonderful reunion. People were located that the rest of us had little idea of how to find. It was a joy to reconnect with the warm-hearted Yvonne, whose gift to the world was herself.
