Ruby Bonner Rice, 91, was born November 10, 1925 in Waller, TX, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2017, in Belton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ralph Masters, of Belton; grandchildren, Stuart and Michelle Masters, of Belton, Jane and Burl Rice, of Sparta, TN., and Roger and Alisa Masters, of Princeton, TX; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Madeline Masters, Reagan and Brock Masters, and Eli Rice; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Elizabeth Rice, of Houston; and niece, Susan Rice, of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Rice; parents, J.I. and Daisy Bonner; grandson, Ralph Masters; and sister, Mildred Bonner.
Ruby was a member of FBC Belton, Golden Age Club, Temple Newcomer’s Club, and the Temple Book Review Club.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. followed by graveside service at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Rosewood Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble, TX 77396, with Rev. Richard Keithley officiating.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017, at FBC Belton, 506 North Main St., Belton, TX 76513, with Rev. Andy Davis officiating.
