Alice Susan Jacobs, 54, of New Caney went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was born Thursday, December 13, 1962 to Oscar and Callie Brister. Alice is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Mac Brister, Jimmy Lee Brister and Ronald Glen Brister. She is survived by her husband, James Jacobs; children, LeAnn Jacobs, Jerel Jacobs and wife Amanda, Becky Smith and husband Caleb; grandchildren, James, Kelcie, Wade, Lloyd, Jesse and Kaydee; siblings, James Brister, Scot Brister, Omer Brister, Michael Brister, Patsy White and Bracy Wars; and a host of other family members and friends. A visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Trevat Cemetery, in Trevat, TX.
