Wayne E. Oldham, 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Charlotte Kethan Oldham; son, Timothy Oldham and wife, Kelly; daughter, Lisa Grinnell and husband Mike; grandchildren, Michael, Caroline, Mary Grinnell and Jones Oldham; step children, Wayne, Will and Cindy Rogers; step grandchildren, Kyle Rogers and wife, Alicia, Krista Rogers and Kraig Dunn; step great-grandchildren, Aden and Kade Gregory and Tyler Rogers; a brother, Jim Oldham and wife, Kathy; nephews, Kirk Oldham and wife, Angie, Todd Oldham and wife, Tara, great nephews, Bret, Ryan, Riley and Jackson. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Myrtle Oldham and a nephew, Bret Oldham.
Wayne was born November 1, 1934 at home in Cato, TN. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. Wayne served in the US Army at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. After retirement in sales, he and his wife did voluntary work at Houston Northwest Medical Center Hospital for years. Wayne served on the Board of Directors for the Auxiliary for several years. Wayne and his wife were members of Spring Woods United Methodist Church for 23 years and members of the Lee Bible Class.
