Obituary for Sue Ann Reynolds (Buhman)

Sue Ann Reynolds (Buhman)
Sue Ann Reynolds (Buhman) born to John & Nellie Buhman on June 24, 1945 in Maysville MO, passed from this life on August 22, 2016 at M/D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX
Sue grew up in St. Joe MO where her family relocated from the farm to the City so the children could attend Catholic School.
At the age of 18 she married her childhood sweetheart Stephen Curtis Reynolds and they shared 52 wonderful years together.
Moving to Texas Sue stayed very busy raising their son Curtis and balancing her career of 35 years with Transworld Oil where she held positions from executive secretary to Vice President. For the past several years, rather than retire Sue split her time between work, grandchildren, family and travels.
She had many loves but two favorite were crafts, and baking, where she kept not only her friends but the entire neighborhood in baked goods every holiday. While she was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time working in her garden, her business side demonstrated her organizational skills and efficiency. She loved playing games with her friends and as the official score keeper where she managed to win over 75 % of the time.
Sue was the ultimate Elvis fan and as far as she was concerned, Elvis was “always in the building”. She once attended a wedding and when realizing it was filled with Elvis impersonators, used a whole roll of film taking pictures. If you rode in Sue’s car, you only heard one station on the radio, the Elvis station.
She was raised a Catholic and always gave of her time and talents to the church. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, Greeter and on Bereavement Committee, was active in the Women’s Guild and the Quilting/ Knitting Group at St. Mary Magdalene church in Humble and St. Phillip the Apostle church in Huffman.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Nellie Buhman, survived by her Father Johnnie Buhman, who just celebrated 106, her Husband, Steve Reynolds, Son and Daughter-In-Law, Curtis & Jeanne Reynolds and the joys of her life, her Grand children Ariane and Maxine. Her brother John and her sisters Jean and Rosie
She had a smile and laughter that would brighten a room and everyone she met became a friend.
