Jimmy Dale Courtney, aka “Big Jim”, 67 from Nacogdoches, TX passed April 27, 2016, in Humble, TX, peacefully with his family by his side. He was a loving and faithful husband to his wife Joyce Courtney of 47 years. He was the strength and comfort to his beautiful children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Jim had a background in construction and built many churches, but his first love was building the Kingdom as he shared God’s goodness to everyone he met. He loved to sit around telling jokes, eating (Blue Bell), laughing and singing. He never met a stranger and had a gentle spirit to put everyone at ease. He will be greatly missed but we will see him again.
