Obituary for Walter Hunter Wienbroer

Walter Wienbroer, 69, of Houston Passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. He was born Sunday, February 16, 1947 in Borger, TX. When he was 17 he moved to Pasadena, TX where he graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1965. That same year, he married Mary Garner. Walter went on to attend East Central University in Ada, OK before returning to Houston. He completed his degree at The University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 1971. Walter worked for Eckerd's/CVS for 42 years before retiring in 2013. Throughout his life, Walter loved to travel. He visited Russia, Egypt, London, Canada, Australia, Costa Rica, Hawaii and many other places throughout the United States. Walter is survived by wife Mary Wienbroer; daughter, Suzann Lind and husband Daniel; and grandson, Matthew Lind. A Memorial Service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble.
