Mrs. Joan Hearn was born March 16, 1946 in New London Wisconsin, and passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 in Katy Texas. She lived a full life and enjoyed gardening, reading, cross stitching, and going to lunch with her daughter. She always had a sunny disposition no matter the challenges of the day. She was a retired Operating room nurse and took a great love for her patients, the physicians, and her fellow nurses. Her greatest love was for her granddaughters and their horses. She was there for them at every horse show, and every practice. Her love for them and their horses was boundless. She’d help tack, untack, and groom the horses with them every chance she got. One of her other favorite pastimes was building Lego items with her grandson. They could spend hours constructing things just for him to crash, drive, or fly. Another favorite activity of hers was lounging in the pool with her grandchildren. No matter how much they splashed and poured water on her she was always loving the time she spent with them. At home in Humble Texas she enjoyed her two cats Felix and Pearl. She loved to cook, and could out do any of the famous chefs. Her meals were extraordinary. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
