Obituary for Larry "Pete" Locke

Larry "Pete" Locke, 72, of Porter went to be with his Lord Friday, March 27, 2015. He was born Saturday, January 9, 1943 in Geneva, AL to John and Inez Locke. He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above; step-mother, Ruth Locke. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna Howard Locke; daughters Debbie Needham and husband Mark; Judy Luquette Gollub and husband Joey; grandchildren Daniel Needham, David Needham and wife Ashley, Katie Luquette, Kayla Luquette; great-grandchildren Kinsley Needham and Lane Bancroft; one brother, John William Locke; extended family, Johnny Decker, David Luquette and a host of loving family, friends, neighbors and customers. Pete was the owner of the Jensen Drive Lawn Mower Service for over 59 years. Growing up on the North side of Houston, his favorite hang out was the local Princes Drive-in. One of his biggest passions was classic cars or anything with an engine and wheels. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Pete's family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Donations can be made online at woundedwarriorproject.org.
