Obituary for
Howard Herschel Crenshaw Sr.
Howard Herschel Crenshaw Sr., born August 19, 1925, departed his earthly home on March 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Bette, father H.T., and brother Ray.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Billie A. Crenshaw, sons Howard Crenshaw Jr. and wife Kathleen of Deer Park, TX, Edward Crenshaw and wife Debra of Friendswood, TX., daughter Susan LeJeune and husband Darrel of Houston, TX., step-daughter Michelle Johnson of Tomball, TX., granddaughter Liz Aga and husband Drew, grandsons Brian Crenshaw, Jasen Crenshaw, Stephen Crenshaw, Daniel Bassett, Kevin Crenshaw, Adam Bassett, Travis Crenshaw, and his great-grandchildren Kade and Ally Aga, Chloe and Sarah Crenshaw, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard worked at Shell Refinery in Deer Park, TX for 18 years then became owner of Market Center Hardware in Pasadena, TX., which was a founding member of Handy Hardware Wholesale.
Howard was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, TX and volunteered numerous hours in various capacities. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching Dallas Cowboys football, and being a proud grandpa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and love to Dad’s care team from Heart to Heart Hospice, Brandon, Jamie, Patti, and Sunny.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Chaplain Sunny Langlinais.
