Obituary for Mary Kathryn Embrey (Ford)

Mary Kathryn Embrey (Ford)
Mary Embrey

Known to some as Ms. Mary and to others as Ms. Kathy

Born July 25, 1957 in Marshall, Texas
Passed Dec. 16, 2014 in Humble, Texas

Mary was loved by many people, and has always had the personality that goes with it. She grew up in Beckville, Texas, and moved around a bit due to life. She then moved to Humble in 1988 and has been there ever since. She was always trying to be upbeat and happy, even on days that it was difficult. She worked at Kirkland’s for many years, and loved getting to see and work around people every day. She may not have always been in the best of health, but she always had a smile on her face and would try to put one on everyone else’s as well.

She was survived by her Mother and her husband, Mary and Bob Womack, her sister Susan Stroud, her brother Mike Ford and his family and her family as well as the family of brother, Randy Ford, who passed away. She was also survived by her two daughters, Kathryn House and her family, Kristi Wagner and her family. She also had many extended family and friends and her beloved dog, Roxy. She was preceded in passing by her brother Randy Ford and her father, Billy Ford.

Her service is to be held at Rosewood Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 2 pm. She will have a viewing on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm. She has asked to be cremated and her ashes will be scattered privately by her family.
