Wilbur Edwin Roane Jr., 55, loving husband and dad, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born on December 25, 1958 in Jacinto City, Texas to Wibur and Wanda Roane. He loved to serve the Lord and loved his family. Wilbur was preceded in death by his twin brother, Wilbur E. Roane III; grandparents, Leonard and Lavern Robertson, Samuel and Lily Roane; father-in-law, J.T. Porter; nephew, Tony Porter. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Shirley J. Roane; children, Lisa M. Roane and fiance' Darryl Thompson, Jeremy E. Roane; brother, Warren M. Roane and wife Danna; niece, Adriana Gunnels and husband Erik; nephew, Jonathan Roane; numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Deerbrook Church of Christ with John Orr officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Oklahoma.
