Condolence: I never thought I would ever have to say goodbye to such a close friend. You were like a brother to me. We have 23 great years of memories together, that I will never let go of. Everytime things in my life fell apart, you and Derek were there to help me put the pieces back together. If I were to sit here and write everything we have been through together, the laughs we had, or the times we spent together.... I would be here the rest of the week. I love you brother! I will never forget the last time we spent together and what you told me. Thank you for that. Im sorry it took me so long for me to write on here. I wasnt ready at all.
To Mr. and Mrs. Gleim/Family, Shawn was truly a blessing in my life. He loved you all very much! We had so many great memories together. I just want to tell you thank you for having such an amazing son/brother to share my life experiences with. My heart goes out to each and every one of you, and I will continue to pray during this difficult time. I love you Shawn! Goodbye for now.

Condolence: to my sweet Uncle Rick and family, we are so sorry for this hard thing you have to bear. Even though I didn't know Shawn, I can see how much he is loved, and I know his great parents raised him well. We love you all and know that Shawn is with our dear Grandpa Gleim, who we love! You are in our prayers!

Condolence: Shawn, you were a true blessing in disguise. We would run into each other a couple times a year and every time, whether it was at school or at a restaurant, he would always make a point to say hello and ask how my son and I were doing. I never thought seeing you earlier this year at a friend's funeral would be the last time we would say hello, how have you been, give big hugs, and say goodbye. You were right, we just never know when it is our time. I thank you Shawn for all the memories, the funny, the crazy, the good, and the bad. Rest in Paradise, you will be missed.

Condolence: We are so sad to hear of Shawn's passing. We met Shawn a few years ago while he was working at Fiesta Aztec. He always had a smile on his face and we just enjoyed hanging out talking & joking with him. He will be greatly missed by so many. Shawn touched many peoples lives, he was a stand up guy! Condolence: We met Shawn several years ago while he was working at our favorite local restaurant. His outgoing nature made us love him from the start. He always took time to chat with us, give our teenage son advice, and laugh at his corny jokes. Through the years we have watched Shawn grow into a man with a great future. We were so happy for him when he got his job at Exxon! Thank you for raising such a special person. I don't know what to say. I'm shocked and deeply saddened to hear of your passing. We met at Lonestar, and I genuinely thought you were one of the coolest people I had the pleasure of befriending. Meeting you, as brief as our time together was, was similar to what I believe having a brother would be like. We mocked each other relentlessly, but we both had fun in doing so.
