Obituary for
Marjorie Louise Schupska (Doebereiner)
Marjorie Louise (Doebereiner) Schupska was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the age of 89. Marjorie was born to George and Nellie Doebereiner in Painesville, Ohio on February 18, 1925. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, William George Schupska, Sr., her brother, Paul Stell, and sister, Carol Powell, 3 daughters Nellie Rice, Sally Gregory, and Doris Walther, sons Bill Schupska, Jr. and Paul Schupska, 10 grandchildren, Tammy Edwards, Kim Davis, Mike Rice, Nathaniel Martin, George Lee, Amanda Lee, Billy Schupska, James Gregory, Jr., Rebecca Boyd, and Laurie Barnes, 41 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
Marjorie “Grama” Schupska wholeheartedly loved family gatherings and giving to others; she was always so thoughtful and caring. This amazing woman knew every single name and Birthdate of each sibling, child, grandchild, great-grandchild, great-great-grandchild, and even her friends. She was known for her special fruit cookies, tradition-starting sugar biscuits, spending hours making intricate scenes with her detailed cardboard crafts, hand-sewn clothing, and giving the best big, wet kisses and tight hugs before saying, “I love you, honey.” She enjoyed the piano and was quite talented at playing the accordion. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service time of 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas.
