David Lock, 80, of New Caney went to be with his Lord Saturday, November 15, 2014. He was born Wednesday, January 3, 1934 to Johnny and Zula Lock. Before his retirement, David owned and operated a floor finishing business and was co-owner of a pump and crane business. David is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; step sons James Burke and Bubba Burke; step daughters Patricia Webb and husband Chad, and Tina Meshell; grandchildren, Melissa Overall and husband Altos, John Burke, Trina Mize and husband Larry, Casey Turner, Marty Meshell, Taylor Webb; great-grandchildren, Rainey, Morgan, Kylie, Kolby, Milo; brothers, Joe Lock and wife Mary, John Lock and wife Reba, Sammy Lock; sisters, Betty Hettinger, Martha Blanton, Margaret Moore, and numerous nephews, nieces, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by one son, Darrell Lock; brothers, James Lock and Billy Lock; sister, Laura Hadley. A visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston, TX.
