Life Story for
Bonnie Dieu Wesson (Smith)
Bonnie passed from this life Sunday October 26th after a decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.
Born in Holliday, Texas, to Frank G. and Mary Ella Smith she spent her early childhood in various parts of the Texas Gulf Coast. After graduating from Flower Bluff High School in 1950, she worked within the Texas school system for almost 50 years as well as approximately 20 years at Jo-Ann Fabrics.
During her life she experienced living abroad in Stavanger, Norway; London, England as well as Cork, Ireland before settling in New Caney in 1975.
Bonnie loved to craft and sew. She loved spending time with her family, dear friends and neighbors whether taking trips or having neighborhood parties.
Bonnie is survived by three children (and spouses): Roy Joel ‘Jody’ (Debbie), Gerald Wayne ‘Bo’ (Carolyn) and Elaina Foradory (Hank); eight grandchildren: Jeremy Wesson, Melanie Wesson, Nick Wesson (Brooke), Katie Case (Courtney), Grason Foradory, Delaney Foradory, Ashley Foradory and Trey Foradory (Valerie).
She is also survived by her brothers and their wives, Frank Smith (Susan) of Lynn Haven, Florida and Billy Ray Smith (Jane) of Corpus Christi.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Smith.
