Condolence: Carol and I worked together at Johnson Space Center. We played together through Creative Memories scrapbooking and the Red Hat Society. I lost touch with her when I moved to Mississippi to work at Stennis Space Center. I kept up with her through mutual friends on Facebook. I'm glad she didn't wait until retirement to do things she wanted to do. I know she was anxious for grankids, so glad she got those! I miss her; she was such a dear. I love the pictures posted on this website. Brings back such good memories. Bless you all.

Condolence: Jimmy, Eric and family: Carol was always such a job to work with, be around and she had such a good spirit about her. She always had a smile and was very kind to everyone she met. I enjoyed working with her, cruising with her and lunching with her. It just won't be the same without her. Prayers are with you all.

Condolence: Carol was my first supervisor when I was an O.E. student at Nasa Johnson Space Center back in 1984. She taught me so many things like how to work hard, do my best, and to not be afraid of making mistakes. She was patient and kind, very loving and sweet and just an overall genuinely nice person. She made a very strong impression on my life. On my last day, she gave me an album that she made for me to remember my time in Center Operations Procurement. I still have it 27 years later. In it, she had written me a very heart-felt letter that really touched me. I cried as I read it. In it, she motivated me to go on and do great things. I received my degree and then later became an elementary school teacher. I later went back to work for Corporate America where I currently work with O.E. students. Because of how she mentored me and took me under her wing, I have had the opportunity to do the same with the O.E. students I now work with. I often remember how she helped and encouraged me and I try be the same kind of blessing to those O.E. students I work with giving them a strong foundation like she gave me. I'm sure she has touched the lives of many more young people, people in general, as well as her family and friends. I'm sure she will be greatly missed but I am sure she instilled a lot of good things in a good many people and in so doing, left a legacy. I will pray for the family's strength and comfort during this difficult time. Carol, I hadn't seen you in a long time but I'll see you on the other side. Farewell for now!

Our hearts are so heavy and sad. We loved her so much. Her laugh her charm and her giving spirit have left us for a while. God is enjoying his special creation now.
God gave Carol outstanding talents and an overwhelming amount of love that she shared with so many. How very blessed we have been.

I pray our Lord and Savior will comfort each of us with peace in our time of hurting sorrow.

Condolence: I met Carol when I started working at NASA back in 1975. She was one of the kindest persons I've ever known. She had a way of making me feel happy even if I wasn't. She's always been there for me. She was there when I lost my sister in 1979. She came to my bridal shower and wedding. I've been shopping with her and her mom down off Harwin with my mom. I've met Jimmy and the boys. She did a garage sale/flea market booth with me and Claranita at NASA. We ate lunch together often. Talked on the phone a lot. She was a go-to-person. Didn't seem to matter what it was I needed... she had it. She touched many, many lives. She loved life and it showed. She loved family, friends, animals, holidays, jewelry. My heart is heavy that she has left us. But, I'm filled with joy and feel absolutely blessed that she was such a good friend for so many years. I'm proud to say she was my friend.
