Norman "Storm" Young, 55, of Kingwood went to be with his Lord Wednesday, October 22, 2014. He was born September 21, 1959 to Thomas Young and Doris Schultz.

Norman was a hard-working, dedicated family man, who loved his family with all he had. As an avid outdoors man, some of the happiest times of his life were spent hunting, fishing and exploring the East Texas Piney Woods. Aside from his time outdoors his hobbies included taxidermy, spending countless hours working on Justin's car and coin collecting. Though he had his own unique, tough exterior, those close to him will always remember him as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cindy Young; daughter, Amber Howard and husband Mike; grandchildren, Madison and Justin Howard; brothers, Mark Young and wife Paula, Tom Young and wife Cathy, brother-in-laws David Weaver and wife Kery, Danny Weaver and a host of loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Justin; mother; Doris; step-father Gordon; mother-in-law, Dee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, Porter.
