Condolence: This is what we will always remember about Edith. She always had a smile & an enthusiastic greeting when you came over. I can hear the "How are you doing Roy?!" (she may have liked Roy a smidgen more). Edith would joke about having a cold beer & encourage you to have one. Edith was ageless & fun-loving. I remember when Mike, Kathy & Edith took us to Kim-Son for Meghan's high school graduation. Edith told us what made the fortune cookies even funnier. She always liked a good laugh. We will miss her.
Condolence: Dear Kathy,
I'm so sorry to hear about Edith's death. Although you are surrounded by friends & family, as your across-the-street neighbor, I stand ready to help in any way that you might need.
Forrest & I plan to come to her funeral mass, but it occurs to me that if you're looking for someone to watch or be in your house on Wednesday, we'd be happy to do that instead.
Blessings to you and Mike during this time,
Shelley
