Truman E. Moffett was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on Au­gust 28, 2014 in Houston, Texas, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Truman was born in Mi­ami, Florida, the only child of Texas-natives Truman O. and Murline Moffett. They brought him back to Texas as soon as possible. Most of his childhood was spent in Bacliff, Texas. He gradu­ated in 1970 from Dickinson High School and received his college degree in 1974 from Southwest Texas State University (currently Texas State University).
He worked for JAHO Inc. as a Construction Esti­mator for over 30 years. He formed many close friend­ships with co-workers and business associates.
His favorite pastimes included hunting, working on classic cars, traveling and socializing with friends and family. Holidays were very special with his large extended family. He consid­ered all his nieces and neph­ews and their spouses as his own and they were equally as close with their Uncle Truman.
Truman touched many lives. Most of all he enjoyed his lifelong relationship with Karen, his wife of 40 years and a large circle of family and friends.
