Condolence From: Gary Hester

Condolence: I first met Dr. Fritts at First Baptist Church when I was around 8 yrs old. He was my friend as well as my pastor, and was always there for me. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Bible, and it was always a good long conversation when we'd discuss various parts of the Bible. He never judged me or criticized me , but instead offered Godly advice to help me through whatever situation/crisis I faced. He was of great comfort when my Dad passed away in 2010. I will never forget when I sang at my Dad's funeral. Dr. Fritts huddled with some others and prayed the whole time I was singing to have strength to get through the song without breaking down. I regret that I never had a chance to thank him for everything he did for me through the years. Rest in Peace Dr. Fritts! I will certainly miss you my friend. My heart is heavy today. However, I know Heaven is rejoicing as one of God's Angels is home. I have no doubt God has one nice Mansion for you on those streets of gold. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Fritts family during this time.
