Obituary for Carlos Gauna Sr.

Carlos Gauna Sr., 40, passed away in LaPorte, Texas on August 24, 2014. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 30, 1973. Carlos was a beloved husband, father, baseball coach, friend and businessman. He had a passion for baseball, mission work in the Dominican Republic and working with children. He loved the Lord and he will be so deeply missed by his family and friends.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Stacy Gauna; parents, Luciano & Dominga Gauna;
children, Carlos Jr, Maeghan, Makenzie and Cody; granddaughter, Shaelyn Rae;
siblings, Ann Gustavus and her husband, James Gustavus; niece and nephew, Michael and Kara Gustavus; a cousin, Monica Machado, whom he deeply treasured. Monica was like a very close sister to him. Carlos is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
